A vivid green Tsavorite with color comparable to emerald and strong saturation. Slightly included—which is usual for large tsavorite due to scarcity, and transparent, the gemstone has an oval cut that creates maximum brilliance when reflecting light. This is achieved by the gem’s natural characteristics, coupled with the cutter’s priority on fashioning a first-class crown to pavilion ratio. According to miners, less than one percent of produced tsavorites weigh over three carats, hence the gem’s rarity. Also, its properties make it an effective and less-expensive emerald alternative.

The girdle is suitable for easy mounting, and the dimensions are 7.75 mm long, 11.17 mm wide, and 4.80 mm deep. The symmetry is excellent and the polish is fair. The final appraised grade is 8 out of 10.
