A vivid green Tsavorite with color comparable to emerald and strong saturation. Very slightly included—which is usual for tsavorite, and transparent, the gemstone has an oval cut that creates maximum brilliance when reflecting light. This is achieved by the gem’s natural characteristics, coupled with the cutter’s priority on fashioning a first-class crown to pavilion ratio. Also, its properties make it an effective and less-expensive emerald alternative. The girdle is suitable for easy mounting, and the dimensions are 6.78 mm long, 9.61 mm wide, and 4.72 mm deep. The symmetry is excellent and the polish is very good. The final appraised grade is 9 out of 10.
